Can Posterous be my Social Media hub?

It can get very tedious trying to share things between Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, and the hordes of other services I’m subscribed to. The idea of having a central point, a hub, so to speak, where I can send stuff and have it automatically distributed to the others is quite appealing. At the moment, I’m using FriendFeed in that capacity; I post there, and it gets sent to Twitter and Facebook as well. But Posterous offers the same functionality and more; for example, this post should get automatically posted to my blog in addition to the other social network services. If it works, then it might be worthwhile composing all my blog posts on Posterous (or sending them via email). But I need to see what it does, especially with the attached photograph.
